Our Pregnancy Journey
I knew when we announced we were pregnant so many people would be just as shocked as we were. Brandon and I have been married 10 years so most people thought after the first few years that we had wrote off having kids. The truth is over the years we never could decide on what we wanted. At the end of the day we always did say if we have a kid it’s meant to be and if we don’t then it will be okay.
DIY Office Built Ins
This took me a little while to write, since the salon go super busy with the Holiday season. So better late than never.
When we bought this house last November I knew I wanted the office to have built ins. Our last house we didn’t do it and I regretted it. So Pinterest I went for inspiration.
Our office is a 10x10, so its not too big but a good enough size for a decent sized built in, another thing is I didn’t want our built ins to have a desk at them, I felt like you would be looking at a wall the whole time, so I needed them to be on a thinner side. We needed a room for a desk, I wanted it to feel open when working.
One Room Challenge: Week 7
Week 7 is here and we spent this time painting everything, built-ins, trim, walls and all.
One Room Challenge: Week 5 & 6
Cant believe we are week 5 & 6, this is the week of trimming and caulking everything. Next week is the fun part, paint.
One Room Challenge: Week 4
Week 4 is finally come and went, we did get more finished this week. We secured the cabinets and got the shelves built. We have even narrowed down the office chair.
One Room Challenge: Week 2 & 3
I know I am so far behind on posting the week 1 & 2. There was not many things going on in those 2 weeks, except getting supplies and moving electrical.
One Room Challenge: Our Home Office. Week One
Who doesn’t love a good challenge? Brandon and I decided last minute to participate in the One Room Challenge for Fall 2021. We will be making over our home office space.
Cabinet Painting How To
The question I get asked most about is painting cabinets. We have remodeled a few homes over the years and for every kitchen and bathroom, I always have to paint the cabinets. After buying our first home, we got quoted for painting the cabinets....it was in the thousands.
Home Decor Fall
Let’s talk about transitioning from summer into fall decor.
This can be an easy and gradual process. It doesn’t have to be expensive and you don’t have to make grand gestures. You also don’t have to start out with pumpkins, add those along the way.
Hair Products
Being a hairstylist that stays busy, I get asked a lot of questions about various products. I decided I would dedicate an entire blog to the ones I love most and suggest for my clients. Of course, I always recommend professional products. So, let’s get right into it!
