Home Decor Fall
Let’s talk about transitioning from summer into fall decor.
This can be an easy and gradual process. It doesn’t have to be expensive and you don’t have to make grand gestures. You also don’t have to start out with pumpkins, add those along the way.
Don’t get overwhelmed having to decorate the whole house; I would focus on the areas that speak to you. Mine would be my entryway and built-ins. Over time I do add a few more touches, but these are the areas I give my attention to first.
These are a few items I use to make my home feel more cozy for fall.
Fall stems:
They are easy to change and more budget friendly. This year I focused on burgundy and neutral tones.
Candles: What can make a space feel cozier than soft, flickering candles? The best part is with so many different, delicious fall fragrance choices, they can truly capture the essence of the season.
Pillows and throws:
I start changing out my pillow covers to warmer tones. I will leave a few neutral tone ones and add 1-2 warmer tone ones. For throws, I go for more chunky throws because it gives a really cozy vibe.
Vases:
I like to use black or distressed ceramic vases.
Pumpkins:
I know it’s becoming a trend to use fewer pumpkins, but I love a few here and there. I use gold, wooden and woven pumpkins. I feel like they go with any decor easily but they are not too much.
With a few simple touches you can totally transform your space into being fall-ready. I hope these tips are helpful!!
